Dev Ops Engineering Trainer

Role Description The Dev Ops Engineering Trainer will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs focused on DevOps tools, practices, and methodologies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, where the trainer will conduct classroom-based sessions, hands-on labs, and workshops for learners at various skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing course materials, customizing content to meet learner and corporate client needs, and providing mentoring and coaching throughout the learning journey. The trainer will evaluate learner performance, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with internal teams and industry experts to ensure training aligns with current DevOps trends and best practices. The role also involves maintaining high training quality standards, supporting learner queries, and contributing to curriculum updates and new course development.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities to explain complex DevOps concepts and resolve learner issues effectively.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments, including hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and securing systems.
• Customer service skills to engage professionally with learners and corporate clients, ensuring a supportive and inclusive training experience.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Prior experience as a technical trainer, instructor, or DevOps engineer, with the ability to translate practical experience into clear, structured lessons.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux, cloud, DevOps) are preferred but not mandatory.
