Senior/Lead C# + .NET Software Engineer

About The Role

In this role, you will contribute to building and evolving enterprise-scale distributed applications for a US-based client, focusing on backend services, integrations, and modern web solutions. You will operate as a hands-on Senior .NET Engineer or Tech Lead within a collaborative product team, influencing technical decisions and delivering impactful features. The position offers exposure to strategic initiatives and direct work with experienced stakeholders across geographies

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable applications using C# and .NET, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability of core systems
Own end-to-end delivery of backend services and distributed components, driving improvements in system performance, scalability, and operational stability
Collaborate closely with architects, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders to align solutions with business needs and accelerate delivery outcomes
Build and enhance microservices and distributed systems, applying modern architectural patterns and best practices
Develop and maintain messaging-based integrations using RabbitMQ and related technologies
Design and optimize REST APIs and backend services, ensuring efficient communication across systems
Work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL to design, implement, and tune database solutions for performance and scalability
Contribute to frontend features using React when required and support continuous improvement through code reviews, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Work with partial overlap with US business hours

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with strong expertise in C# and .NET
Proven experience designing and supporting distributed systems and microservices architectures
Hands-on experience with messaging platforms, particularly RabbitMQ
Strong knowledge of REST API design and backend service development
Experience working with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization
Familiarity with cloud-native development, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
Experience with React and modern frontend technologies is a strong plus
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work proactively with an ownership mindset
Effective communication skills to collaborate in distributed teams with an intermediate English level or higher
