AI Engineer (LLM / RAG / Knowledge Graph) – Banking

Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join an exciting project with a leading client in the banking sector based in Sheffield.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in developing enterprise AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), combined with experience in knowledge graph technologies.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Experience designing and implementing Knowledge Graphs
• Proven experience building AI-powered applications and solutions
• Strong understanding of modern AI/ML frameworks and architectures
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills

Essential Requirements

• Previous banking or financial services domain experience is essential.
• Ability to work from the Sheffield office as required.

Desirable Skills

• Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with vector databases and AI orchestration frameworks
