We are looking for a Firmware / Embedded Software Engineer to join an innovative team developing next-generation IoT solutions, particularly in the field of emissions monitoring and low-power embedded systems.
This role is designed for someone who wants to build reliable, high-impact embedded products used internationally, while contributing to solutions that help customers better measure and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
Your profile
You have a degree in electrical engineering, electronics, embedded software engineering or an equivalent background in hardware and firmware development.
You bring:
- several years of professional experience in firmware / embedded software development;
- solid experience with Zephyr OS and C / C++;
- a strong interest in IoT, sensors, wireless protocols and low-power embedded systems;
- the ability to design reliable, robust and self-sufficient systems in a dynamic, start-up-like environment;
- Python knowledge, which would be considered an advantage;
- the ability to collaborate effectively in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
Your responsibilities
You will be involved in embedded software development, from the concept phase through to market launch. Your responsibilities will include:
- designing, developing and maintaining the firmware of IoT devices deployed internationally;
- contributing to the development of reliable, autonomous and high-performance embedded systems;
- working on products integrating sensors, wireless protocols and low-power constraints;
- contributing to test environments, product validation and production ramp-up;
- collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of engineers and business stakeholders;
- actively contributing to the continuous improvement of products and technical solutions;
- supporting the development of next-generation emissions monitoring solutions.
What we offer
You will join an international, stimulating and innovation-driven environment, with short development cycles between product idea and market launch.
You will work on concrete, varied and technically demanding projects within a motivated and collaborative team. This role gives you the opportunity to contribute directly to solutions with a positive and measurable impact on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
The position also offers several benefits, including:
- flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home depending on the role;
- a bonus system in cash or shares;
- an attractive pension scheme;
- discounts on public transport;
- a preferential mobile phone contract;
