The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse portfolio of technology projects spanning IT Operations and Software Development. On the IT Operations side, this includes software rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and systems deployments; on the Software Development side, this includes application development and product delivery initiatives. This role serves as the central point of coordination across teams, stakeholders, and vendors—driving projects from initiation through delivery while managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk. The Project Manager will champion Agile practices, maintain healthy project and sprint backlogs, and keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely communication.


This is a fully remote position. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with a global, distributed team across multiple time zones, using online collaboration and project management tools to coordinate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and deliver IT Operations projects including software rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and systems deployments
  • Plan, manage, and deliver Software Development projects in coordination with the development team, CIO, and product management
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Maintain healthy project and sprint backlogs while managing sprint turnover frequency
  • Track project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and proactively resolve issues and blockers
  • Administer and maintain project tracking in Jira, ensuring accurate status, reporting, and metrics
  • Coordinate across internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to align priorities and timelines
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and risks clearly to stakeholders and leadership
  • Help define and improve internal project management processes, standards, and documentation
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience managing technology projects
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Hands-on experience with Jira for project and backlog management
  • Demonstrated experience managing both IT infrastructure/operations projects and software development projects
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a global, distributed team
  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent certification a plus
  • Experience with software rollouts and infrastructure deployments a plus
