Your Role

As an LLM Game Designer, you will shape how NPCs think, talk, and behave in our world. Your core craft is prompting: writing, structuring, and iterating on the prompts that drive NPC personalities, dialogue, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Write, structure, and iterate on prompts driving NPC personalities, dialogue, and behavior
  • Design and refine AI-driven systems for NPC dialogue, reactions, and decisions
  • Build distinct character personalities with consistent voice across interactions
  • Create villager automation systems enabling NPC assistance to players
  • Ensure NPC interactions feel organic, contextual, and event-connected
  • Integrate AI with gameplay teams across quests, economy, and survival mechanics
  • Test, evaluate, and improve prompt quality via playtests and player feedback

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional game design experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of major LLM models
  • Strong prompt design and iteration skills
  • Experience designing character, dialogue, or story systems
  • Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany
  • Valid EU work authorization
