Our client, a global technology organisation, is seeking an Security Program Analyst to join their Application Security team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and an interest in cybersecurity who is looking to build a career supporting secure software development programmes.
You'll play a key role in supporting security initiatives through reporting, programme coordination, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, while gaining exposure to modern application security practices.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyse programme data and produce meaningful reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Create insights that help drive security programme improvements and measure success.
- Support the day-to-day operations of application security initiatives.
- Coordinate activities across security, engineering, and programme stakeholders.
- Maintain programme documentation, reporting, and operational processes.
- Assist with communications, training activities, and security awareness initiatives.
- Monitor programme KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Excel skills with experience analysing and presenting data.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, Domo, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with technical teams or technology-focused programmes.
Technical Knowledge
You'll have a foundational understanding of:
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Secure software development practices
- Common application security concepts
- OWASP Top 10 or similar security frameworks
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting cybersecurity or application security programmes.
- Exposure to security operations, governance, or vulnerability management.
- Experience with security awareness or training initiatives.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- A genuine interest in building a career within cybersecurity or application security.
