About the Role

We're looking for a backend-heavy Engineer to lead development of scalable, distributed systems. You'll work primarily with Go (PHP welcomed only from candidates with real microservices/production experience - not framework-only backgrounds), with real ownership over architecture and performance.

You'll work with:

Go · Microservices / distributed systems, event-driven architecture · Kafka · PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB, Redis · gRPC / Protobuf / REST API · Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, AWS · Grafana stack · Real-Time / WebRTC / streaming media · AI/LLM integrations

What You'll Do

• Build scalable backend systems and APIs/microservices in a distributed, event-driven architecture
• Build/support real-time, low-latency systems (VoIP, WebRTC, streaming)
• Integrate AI/LLM and agentic capabilities into production
• Drive architecture decisions with freedom and accountability

What You Bring

• 3+ years overall backend experience (1+ year fine if specifically Go)
• Real hands-on microservices/distributed-systems experience in production SaaS — not siloed work
• Senior-level preferred (an active, driven mid-level engineer is also welcome)
• Big plus: VoIP/WebRTC experience; AI/agentic & LLM integration (now near must-have)
• PHP candidates: needs real microservices exposure beyond Laravel-only work

Salary range: 4959-7438 EUR/Month.
