Mid/Senior Software Engineer

Nikulipe is a licensed Fintech company that gives Payment Service Providers and their merchants access to locally preferred payment methods in Fast-growing and Emerging markets. The company was founded by serial entrepreneurs and Unicorn Founders, who have vast experience in the Fintech-industry, with direct expertise in payment industry technology and business development from companies like PPRO, Banking Circle, Amazon. We are further growing our team and are looking for Mid/Senior Software Engineers to join our existing team of Rust developers.

The Ideal Candidate

• has experience in at least one object-oriented or multi-paradigm programming language (must); Rust skills are a big plus;
• has basic knowledge of SQL;
• is able to navigate existing code and has experience in developing and connecting to web services; understands client-server systems;
• is motivated, passionate, eager to learn, and interested in FinTech products;
• is passionate about secure, reliable and efficient software;
• is happy to work independently and in a team;
• is taking accountability for their commitments, has attention to detail in their own work, and is able to give and receive constructive feedback;
• loves to create exciting products, meeting often complex, sometimes even conflicting goals like regulatory compliance, data protection legislation, information security policies, and offering a first-class user experience;
• has very good written and verbal English language skills;
