Senior Network Engineer – Cisco DC & SD-WAN (Contractor)

Location: Lithuania (Hybrid/Remote)

Engagement: Contractor (B2B)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor LAN, WAN, and Data Centre network infrastructure.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Routing, Switching, Nexus, and ACI environments.
• Administer Infoblox IPAM, DNS, and DHCP services.
• Support FortiGate SD-WAN operations and troubleshooting.
• Perform network performance monitoring, optimisation, and capacity planning.
• Implement IOS upgrades, patches, and network hardening best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis and handle critical incidents and escalations.
• Manage change requests, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.
• Prepare operational reports and perform regular network audits.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus 9000 Series and Cisco Data Centre technologies.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, APIC Controllers, and Spine-Leaf architecture.
• Advanced L3 troubleshooting skills across Cisco networking environments.
• Experience with FortiGate SD-WAN.
• Knowledge of Infoblox IPAM, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wireless networks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• CCNP, CCIE, or other relevant Cisco certifications.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
