About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js/Nest.js) to own the design and development of our core backend systems, ensuring absolute robustness and maintainability. What You Will Do

• Architect & Develop: Design, build, and maintain robust, in-house backend platforms using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Build Ecosystems: Create new features, services, and components from the ground up within a highly scalable microservices environment.
• Integrate APIs: Design and implement seamless third-party API integrations to expand platform capabilities.
• Optimize Performance: Fine-tune system scalability and latency to ensure peak performance for high-load, high-traffic applications.
• Write Elite Code: Craft clean, testable, and maintainable code adhering to strict software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate & Review: Participate in peer code reviews, champion knowledge-sharing, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Work Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Frontend, QA, and Product teams to ensure seamless, high-quality feature deliveries.

What You Bring

• Professional Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in web development, with at least 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Language Proficiency: Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and a strong foundation in modern development practices.
• Database Management: Solid experience working with high-load SQL and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, MySQL, or similar).
• API Expertise: Proven track record of successfully implementing REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Architecture & Messaging: A strong understanding of microservice architecture principles alongside practical experience with Redis and RabbitMQ.
• Quality Focus: A solid grasp of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and a habit of writing robust automated tests.
• Modern Workflows: Familiarity with Git version control and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Communication: Advanced or fluent English proficiency for effective team collaboration.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• 2+ years of deeper exposure to CI/CD, microservices, and containerization (Docker).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and NATS.
