Business Director - Portuguese Market


About the Role


We are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Director to lead and accelerate the commercial development of our Portuguese operations.


This is a strategic role with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. Beyond managing existing business, your primary mission will be to open new client accounts and diversify our customer portfolio, ensuring the long-term growth and resilience of the Portuguese agency.


You will benefit from the backing of an international technology group of more than 2,200 professionals worldwide, giving you access to a broad portfolio of expertise, delivery capabilities, and references to support your business development efforts.


Your Mission


  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Portuguese market.
  • Open new accounts with key players in Lisbon and across Portugal.
  • Develop relationships with both local companies and international organizations operating in Portugal.
  • Diversify the client portfolio to ensure sustainable agency growth
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing
  • Work closely with recruitment, delivery, and technical experts to build winning proposals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction while expanding existing accounts.
  • Contribute to the overall development and visibility of the Portuguese agency.

Profile


  • Proven experience in business development within an IT services company.
  • Strong track record of opening new accounts and generating sustainable revenue.
  • Experience selling Staff Augmentation (Technical Assistance), Fixed-Price Projects, and Managed Service / Service Center engagements.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Portuguese IT services market, particularly the Lisbon ecosystem.
  • Existing network with major local and international companies is highly valued.
  • Ability to engage with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomous, and results-driven.

  • Portuguese: Fluent
  • English: Fluent
  • French: A strong plus
