We would like to meet a Machine Learning Specialist for a project with a remote working model from Portugal. Candidates are only required to attend the Leiria office once a month.
About the role:
We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with 4–5 years of professional experience to design, build, and deploy ML systems in production. You will own forecasting models, anomaly detection systems, and LLM-powered workflows. Your role spans classical ML pipelines and generative AI applications, deployed at scale on Databricks and Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy time series forecasting and prediction models.
Build reproducible ML pipelines using Databricks Model Serving.
Manage model registration, versioning, and experiment tracking with MLflow.
Develop feature engineering pipelines.
Monitor model performance and drift, implementing automated retraining strategies.
Build LLM-powered applications using prompt engineering and function calling.
Develop multi-step agentic workflows using frameworks such as:
- OpenAI Agent SDK
- CrewAI
- LangGraph
Create evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs and agent performance.
Build datasets and pipelines for fine-tuning and model evaluation.
Deploy ML solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure Machine Learning.
Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes.
Implement observability and tracing for models and AI agents.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML services into microservice architectures.
Requirements:
4–5 years of experience in Machine Learning or AI Engineering.
Strong Python programming skills.
Experience with time series forecasting and predictive models.
Production ML experience using Databricks.
Experience with:
- LLMs
- Prompt Engineering
- Agentic AI Systems
Azure cloud experience.
Docker & Kubernetes.
Model evaluation, monitoring, and drift detection.
Workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow).
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying LLM applications into production.
- Experience with LLM observability tools (e.g. Langfuse).
- Knowledge of LLM inference optimization and token caching.
- Multi-agent orchestration experience.
- DevOps and CI/CD experience.
