What you’ll be doing 🎯

As a vital pillar of our second line of defense (2LoD), you will provide independent oversight, challenge product teams, and safeguard our crypto operations. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Crypto Asset Oversight: Providing expert oversight on compliance obligations and operational controls across our entire cryptoasset product suite.
• 1LoD Partnership & Challenge: Reviewing 1LoD compliance approvals for complex crypto initiatives, delivering constructive, high-impact feedback to product developers.
• Policy Architecture: Challenging, assessing, and implementing robust crypto compliance and risk policies completely from scratch.
• Root-Cause Complaints Analysis: Providing 2LoD oversight on crypto-related customer complaints, diving deep into data to uncover trends and drive better customer outcomes.
• Global Horizon Scanning: Driving high-quality regulatory mapping and macro horizon scanning across geographies to intercept and adapt to changing digital asset laws.
• Crypto Competency Roll-out: Designing and ensuring a robust, company-wide cryptoasset training and competency program to up-skill teams across the entire business.

What you’ll need to succeed 🛠️

We are looking for a structurally minded compliance professional who thrives on the frontier of fintech, handles ambiguity with ease, and balances regulatory thresholds with commercial agility.

• The Track Record: 7+ years of experience in a high-pressure regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, financial regulator, or fast-paced corporate compliance function.
• The Crypto Expertise: Deep, technical mastery of cryptoasset-related obligations, framework transformations, and compliance architectures—specifically MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) and CARF (Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework).
• The Toolkit: Proven, hands-on experience conducting rigorous regulatory gap analyses and authoring institutional policies from a blank sheet of paper.
• Risk Integration: A solid, practical understanding of the interplay between core crypto compliance risks and commercial business performance.
• Execution Under Pressure: The ability to stay calm under intense pressure, navigate multi-layered projects simultaneously, and hit aggressive deadlines.
• Communication & Presence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate positively with internal engineering teams and external regulators alike.
