.Net Developer

Summary: The primary objective of this position is to produce required product in conjunction with team members insuring it is of high quality and is timely.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively participate in numerous C# projects
• Maintenance support of legacy code, including ASP/ASP.Net, MVC, JS, SQL
• Gather and produce requirements and designs
• Write and test code for the required product
• Accurately plan software development activities and follow established processes
• Share knowledge, mentor peers, listen and hear team members’ viewpoints and provide a fair evaluation of differing opinions
• Work productively as part of a software development team
• Have the functional and technical skills and knowledge to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
• Be helpful to others as an expert in some areas
• Communicate effectively with management and with team members
• Perform up to standard independently, self-starting
• Ability to work independently, taking minimal support from others and necessity of guidance or help
• Keep commitments
• Actively participate in discussions regarding technical issues

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Over 4 years of C# development, enterprise-class system architecture and design or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
• Strong command of English (from B2 and higher) with the ability to communicate easily on wide range of topics, including technical discussions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• .NET Framework 4 (C#, ASP.Net)
• .NET Core / Framework 5+
• Good knowledge of SQL is a must
• Demonstrated record of delivering high quality software products to market
• Awareness of current technology
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to be a successful member of team
• Desire to gain experience with distributed application architecture, interaction with offshore development teams
• Python - basic level
• Knowledge of jQuery, knockout.js is optional
• Knowledge of Classic ASP is a plus
• C++ and Containers (Docker) are optional
