BUILDING THE HR STRATEGY FOR THE BUSINESS

BASED IN THE UAE

Food People have partnered with a leading hospitality operator in their search for a HR Manager to join their team based in UAE. The role will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes with a focus on employee engagement. It will report into the C-Suite team and will support business needs to ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. This is a function-owning role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops, schedules, and conducts technical, management, and interpersonal skills training to improve employee performance
• Prepares reports and enters and updates medical, insurance, retirement, and other personnel forms and records
• Creating and maintaining an updated HR manual
• Management and development of the HR Team
• Preparation of the proposed budget for the management of human resources at the beginning of each year
• Create an effective talent attraction and retention plan
• Development of human resource management plans for employment succession program
• Building a training and development plan alongside operational training manuals
• Maintain and constantly update the HR systems and database
• Overseeing employee on-boarding and recruitment process
• Keep up to date with market trends to understand compensation, benefits and performance management systems

KEY INGREDIENTS

• A minimum of 5 years of HR experience within the hotel and/or hospitality industry
• Solid understanding of HR labour laws and practices in UAE
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High energy with a passion for building relationships
• Passion for the F&B industry
• Ability to work at a senior level and build the HR strategy to support business expansion
• Fluency in Arabic would be advantageous.
