Product Manager

Job Role : Product Owner

Duration : 12 Months

Location : Toronto, ON (Need to go 2-3 times in week onsite)

Role Overview

• This is more of a Product Owner role than a traditional Business Analyst.
• Product Owner mindset rather than documentation-focused Business Analyst.
• The successful candidate should be able to understand the products, own requirements, and
• work closely with development teams.
• Unlike a traditional BA focused on documentation, this role requires someone who can
• engage with stakeholders, provide product direction, answer functional questions, and help solve business problems.

Daily Responsibilities

• Meet with development teams to discuss and clarify requirements.
• Respond to functional and product-related questions from development teams.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand desk requests, issues, and enhancement needs.
• Communicate with multiple stakeholders across business and technology.
• Analyze problems and provide product-driven solutions.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements for development teams.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Rates and/or FX (Foreign Exchange) products.
• Solid understanding of Capital Markets, preferably within a Front Office environment.
• Experience supporting electronic trading (eTrading) or trading platforms.
• Ability to understand complex financial products and explain business requirements to technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills with both business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Experience working directly with Sales and Traders, including post-trade processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
