About This Opportunity

Mobile networks are today seen as being part of the critical infrastructure of societies. Security and privacy are essential for protecting the communication in mobile networks, and to ensure availability of the services offered on top of the mobile networks.

Our researchers work with security for future mobile networks, taking into account new use cases and services for mobile networks. A security researcher needs to understand the systems that the security is built for. Thus, security research offers a great opportunity to work with the latest technology.

What We Offer

We offer Summer internship in our security research during the summer of 2025 in which students get the opportunity to participate and get insight into our daily work. Joining us as a summer intern means an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice. Moreover you will be exposed to a global organization that develops cutting edge technology that truly changes the world.

Depending on your current knowledge and experience, we offer a possibility to work with different work tasks. You can work with prototype implementations, participate in research studies, or do state-of-the art research on a specific topic. You will also get the chance to get to know other summer interns and create your own network within Ericsson.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for students that are curious about security and are interested in research. We welcome students from their first year of studies from ICT related programs - such as computer science, telecommunications and security - to apply.
