Python Developer

We are hiring for the Python Integration Engineer role on behalf of our global MNC client in Singapore. This is a 12-month extendable contract with a hybrid work arrangement. As a Python Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating vendor solutions with the firm's enterprise infrastructure, APIs, identity systems, and deployment pipelines. You will develop and maintain Python-based services, APIs, automation scripts, and integration components while deploying and supporting application frameworks on Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms. The role involves building secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions that strengthen the firm's security posture across applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with security, cloud, platform engineering, infrastructure, and application development teams to design technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver enterprise-grade capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of hands-on Python development experience with a strong background in building services, APIs, and automation tools. You have a solid understanding of software architecture, application security, Linux, shell scripting, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Experience integrating enterprise applications with APIs, identity systems, and internal platforms is highly desirable. You should also be familiar with authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth, OIDC, SSO, RBAC, and ABAC, as well as secure software development practices, DevSecOps, threat modeling, secrets management, API gateways, SIEM, DLP, and enterprise logging platforms. Experience working with databases and access-controlled data systems will be an added advantage.
