Back End Developer

Role Description This is a full-time role for a Back End Developer at Entangl, Inc. The Back End Developer will design, implement, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power Entangl’s AI platform for critical infrastructure operations. Responsibilities include building scalable, secure services, optimizing performance, integrating with front-end components and external systems, and ensuring reliability in production environments. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, writing tests, and contributing to architecture decisions. The Back End Developer will also help improve development processes and documentation to support a fast-growing, distributed engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong back-end web development skills, including experience building and maintaining APIs and server-side services.
• Solid software development skills, including experience with modern development workflows, testing, and version control.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) and designing clean, modular, maintainable code.
• Programming skills in one or more relevant languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#, or similar), with the ability to learn new technologies as needed.
• Understanding of front-end development concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with front-end engineers.
• Experience with databases, cloud platforms, and microservices or distributed systems is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
