Responsibilities
- Build Engaging User Interfaces: Design and implement user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces using React.
- Collaborate with Backend Teams: Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
- Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize Performance: Identify and address performance bottlenecks to deliver fast and efficient applications.
- Implement New Features: Develop new features and components that align with business requirements and user needs.
- Conduct Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of the codebase.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in frontend development and React ecosystem.
- Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify and fix bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience across devices and platforms.
- Collaborate on Design: Work with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code.
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- React Expertise: At least 2+ years of experience in building applications with React, including state management tools like Redux or Context API.
- Strong Frontend Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Tools and Frameworks: Familiarity with tools like Webpack, Babel, and frontend testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Responsive Design: Experience in creating responsive and mobile-first designs.
- Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, debug effectively, and implement robust solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills.
- Startup Mindset: Adaptability, proactiveness, and eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bonus Points: Knowledge of TypeScript, GraphQL, or experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design).
