Technical Designer

As a Technical Designer, you translate technical ideas into well-thought-out and manufacturable designs. Within our technical department, you contribute to the development and improvement of our installations, with a focus on the 3D design of piping and skid structures.

In your role as a Technical Designer, you:

• Are responsible for the mechanical design in 2D & 3D (in Inventor & Autocad)
• Develop and monitor standardization and automation
• Generate 2D drawings for production
• Generate P&ID diagrams in collaboration with the process engineers. This is mainly the drawing itself, not the preparation of the processes
• Will work closely with the process design and R&D department for conceptual designs of new installations, as well as to improve the designs of existing installations towards simplicity of maintenance, robustness and manufacturability
• Report progress, challenges, possible diversions & opportunities

⚒️ Skills

The perfect Design Engineer:

• Has technical degree (A2 or Bachelor Electromechanics)
• Has experience with Autocad and/or Inventor (Solidworks or similar), mechanical constructions, hydraulic connections and pipes (water), PLC and Sensoring
• Understands technical drawings
• Loves to build and create new things & loves innovate
• Wants to excel in his work and quality is the main concern
• Has very good knowledge of Dutch & English
