Project Planner

Mane are looking for an experienced Project Planner to work on a Hyperscale Data Center project based in Frankfurt. You will be working alongside our client, a leading engineering contractor in the DC Realm.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Planner, you will:

• Oversee a single project or a portfolio of projects (regional/sectoral).
• Develop and maintain pre-construction, construction, and commissioning schedules in alignment with the Planning SOP.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring accuracy in progress databases and milestone projections.
• Conduct delay analysis, float path assessments, and implement Earned Value Management systems.
• Audit on-site progress and liaise with clients and subcontractors during schedule meetings.
• Prepare tender schedules, histograms, and resources/cash-loaded schedules.
• Lead planning and weekly workface planning meetings.
• Provide data for payment applications and contractual reviews.
• Identify potential issues, propose solutions, and record delays or disruptions.
• Support claims preparation and contractual dispute resolution with relevant data.
• Travel to project sites as required to fulfill responsibilities.
• Train staff or cover Senior Project Planner duties when needed.
• Ensure schedules and reports meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Essential Criteria

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• A construction-related degree or trade background.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in project planning for large construction projects.
• Proficiency with Oracle P6, Excel, and other relevant IT tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proven track record of meeting strict deadlines and delivering results.
• Strong knowledge of and commitment to Health & Safety standards.
