Junior Frontend Developer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Work in an interdisciplinary team on challenging Shopify migration and platform projects
  • Develop modern, performant, and responsive frontends for e-commerce platforms
  • Expand Shopify functionalities with suitable apps to improve user experience
  • Utilize modern technologies like TypeScript and common frontend frameworks to create high-quality digital experiences
  • Support backend tasks including database structures, data migrations, and middleware connections

What You'll Need

  • University degree in (Business) Informatics, Data Engineering, Industrial Engineering, User Experience Design, or a comparable field
  • Initial practical experience in software development (e.g., professional experience, internships, working student positions, or personal projects)
  • Strong focus on frontend development with proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern (React-based) frameworks
  • Structured, independent work ethic with high quality standards and a desire to learn new topics
  • Communicative and team-oriented, comfortable with direct customer interaction
  • Very good German (C1/C2) and good English language skills
