DevOps Engineer

Location: Cork, hybrid (must be flexible to meet in Cork city as required)

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our software platforms

• Manage and improve cloud and on-premise infrastructure

• Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using modern tooling

• Improve application deployment, release management, and rollback processes

• Enhance system observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting

• Work with developers to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and development workflows

• Manage containerized workloads and orchestration environments

• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives

• Automate repetitive operational tasks and internal engineering processes

• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis when required

• Help establish engineering standards, operational procedures, and best practices

Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering

• Strong Linux administration experience

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)

• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)

• Experience managing cloud infrastructure

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent)

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs)

• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms

• Solid understanding of security best practices and vulnerability management

• Experience supporting production SaaS environments
