Senior Analytics Consultant

Forward thinking Organisation are seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant / Data Scientist to join a dynamic team.

Soft skills are a key requirement for this position: This is a highly visible, stakeholder-facing role where your ability to engage with business leaders, understand their needs, and deliver actionable insights will be key to your success. You'll work on a variety of projects, from ad hoc analysis to developing dashboards and crafting impactful data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities where analytics can add value.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to uncover actionable insights and present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI or similar tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage Databricks and other advanced analytics platforms (where applicable) to perform deep dives into data and deliver innovative solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics projects meet both business and technical requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in analytics, data science, or a related role, with proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with Databricks, Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings in a clear, actionable manner.

• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A knack for breaking down technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics). Advanced degrees are a plus.
