Innovation Engineer

With more than 3,000 employees worldwide, the Cebi Group operates 11 production sites across 8 countries. We develop and manufacture electromechanical components for leading automotive manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and major household appliance manufacturers.

In addition to validating our products in our own laboratories, we have more than 260 experts working in our 7 R&D centers, fully dedicated to innovation and continuous product improvement.

Cebi Luxembourg S.A., our production site located in Steinsel, employs more than 600 people and is certified to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

To strengthen our R&D Industrialization team, we are looking for an Innovation Engineer R&D.

Your mission :

• Technical responsibility for product (incl. design)
• Make transitions from mechanical to electronic products
• Participate in technical meetings with customers & justify technical decisions
• Manage development partners relationships
• Prepare compliance matrix for verifying technical requirements
• Product Handling Recommendation and Lifecycle Management
• Coordinate internal activities with Process Engineering
• Coordinate with design and validation team based on customers’ requirements and program manager
• Preparing Product Bill of Material
• Prepare Product FMEA & Participate in the Process FMEA
• Lead redaction of Design Procedures and internal technical standards
• Organize internal design reviews with the Design team
• Participate punctually in customer visits
• Regular contact with Design, Projects and Methods departments of the company
• Actively participate in new innovative projects for products development, contributing your expertise to drive successful outcomes
  
  
  

Your profil :

• Master’s degree in mechanical Electronics/Electrotechnics, Mechatronics or equivalent
• Interest in IoT ecosystems (Usage, development, programming, network protocols)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated, curious and proactive, with a passion for innovation and technology.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages a plus, Italian, French, German
