Senior Software Developer

Kelag International, part of the Austrian Kelag Group, is an established renewable energy company active in 14 international markets across Southern, Western and Southeastern Europe. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Ljubljana office.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop dedicated (console, web, service) applications and application modules
• Design and implement interfaces (APIs) between various software components
• Plan architectural and content changes in databases
• Participate in capturing user requirements and preparing specifications
• Collaborate in designing the architecture of software solutions
• Prepare automated tests for developed software modules/components

Your key attributes and qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields; or previous work experience in a similar role
• Strong programming skills in C# and in-depth knowledge of .NET environment.
• Knowledge of Python and Java Script is considered an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Git and other development tools
• Working knowledge of relational databases like Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL
• Ability to write clear, structured and well-documented code
• Self-initiative, great communication skills, willingness to learn (including energy business related knowledge), and teamwork
• Willingness to perform on-call service (5-week rotation)
• Willingness to travel (once per week to Klagenfurt office)
• Responsibility, precision, reliability, curiosity and openness
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Croatian, Serbian, and/or German is desirable
