We're Hiring | Backend Software Engineer

📍 Madrid (Hybrid – 50% Remote)

We're looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join an international team developing mission-critical software solutions for industrial automation.

💻 What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend applications based on Java microservices.
• Build scalable, event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing and agile development practices.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

✅ What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience with Java (JDK 8+/17).
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed architectures.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, Docker and Linux.
• Experience with automated testing and Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent English.

⭐ Nice to have

• OpenShift, AWS or Azure.
• Reactive or functional programming.
• JDK 17 experience.
