Project Manager 80/20, Efficiency Program

What To Expect
The Project Manager for the 80/20 Efficiency Program will drive the implementation and ongoing management of a corporate-wide efficiency initiative based on the Pareto Principle, known as '80/20.'
The Project Manager will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across various business functions to identify value-added activities, streamline processes, and eliminate waste to enhance operational efficiency.
This role will establish clear metrics to track and assess the effectiveness of the 80/20 initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role will report directly to the Director of Program Management, EMEA and it's based in Gates' EMEA Headquarters in Luxembourg.

Key Responsibilities (to Name a Few)
- Lead the 80/20 Initiative and oversee the implementation of the 80/20 efficiency program across the EMEA organization, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategy and objectives.
- Apply 80/20 Methodology by leveraging the Pareto Principle to identify and prioritize key value-added activities, guiding teams to focus on the most impactful initiatives within each function.
- Work with functional leaders to reduce complexity within the Gates customer base, product and service portfolio.
- Work cross functionally to deliver simplification of processes and workflows.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify non-value-adding activities and lead efforts to eliminate inefficiencies within processes.
- Drive initiatives aimed at maximizing productivity, reducing costs, and optimizing resource allocation across departments.
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics to assess the success and impact of the 80/20 program.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring program results, identifying areas for further enhancement, and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Act as a central point of contact for the 80/20 program, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment, secure resources, and facilitate cross-functional communication.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Operations or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 5 years in project management - with specific experience in 80/20, efficiency programs, lean management, or process optimization.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply the Pareto Principle effectively across different business functions.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills - able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Specific project management certification is a plus.
