(Cyber) Security Consultant builds from the ground up (90K/ Utrecht)

For an international holding company employing 15000 people in different countries, we are looking for several (Cyber) Security Consultants. The organization, specialized in (industrial) building technologies, impacts everyday life for a lot of people worldwide. With 3.3B turnover and listed at the stock exchange they are a mayor player. Although the there are a lot of companies under the holding, the holding it self has short and direct lines with an open culture.

In a, new to be formed team, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between security and the business. You provide insight into the current situation. You present your advice to the CISO and lead to concrete decision-making and implementation of improvements. You are that strategic sparring partner of CISO and the rest of the team. The projects you work on are diverse and relate to topics such as security management (ISO 27001), risk management, compliance with standards and frameworks (NIST, DNB Good Practice) or cyber security legislation (NIS2, DORA) for EMEA and North America. Your role can vary from conducting an assessment, managing and contributing to an implementation or an advisory role.

You have

- Bachelor/Master degree

- Experience in the audit and assessment of cyber risks.

- Experience in strategic consulting, in a security team and/or as CISO.

- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as the NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT or CIS and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 or DORA.

- Fluent in English
