Freelance Information Security Manager (6-Month Project)

Are you an experienced professional in information security and cybersecurity with a proven track record of optimizing processes, improving team structures, and driving security strategies? Our client is looking for a Freelance Information Security Manager to help elevate their security operations.

About the Role:

This is not about auditing or reviewing their security—our client is already an established expert in the cybersecurity domain. Instead, your role will focus on strategic improvements to ensure their services remain cutting-edge and impactful for their customers.

You will bring fresh perspectives and help identify how their current processes, team structures, and workflows can evolve to deliver even greater value. This includes recommending and implementing strategic solutions to improve internal efficiency and external service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Significant experience in information security and cybersecurity, with a focus on process improvement and strategy.

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, as well as local and international regulations.

• Proven ability to drive operational and structural improvements within organizations.

• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory).

• Experience working in multiple industries or companies, bringing diverse perspectives.
