Role Description

"Project consultant, IT" for (6-12) months will be responsible for day-to-day project management tasks, including consulting and client’s engagement for business development. This is a hybrid role, located at Dubai, UAE with flexibility of remote work. 

Responsibilities:

• Project management plan creation with the management team and engage team members to accomplish the assigned task activities, ensuring the right working approach with the european team mate and clients. 

• Build a solid relationship with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the entire project lifecycle execution and ensure successful project’s product delivery.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks, proposing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans, fostering a risk awareness culture within the organization.

• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, milestones, and any changes in scope or timeline.

• Assist in project progress reviews, risk assessments, and lessons learned exercises to drive continuous improvement.

• Establish performance metrics and KPIs for project and create comprehensive reports to track project progress, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.

• Continuously assess and refine project management processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall project success rates.

• Champion best practices and industry standards to improve project management capabilities.

The person must have excellent communication skills in English, speaking Arabic is advantages but not mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Service management, BBA or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in Project management or trainings

• Consulting and Project Management skills

• IT Strategy and Technical Support skills

• Experience in business process management, e.g. FMCG, Logistics and transportation, Retail & consumer products

Minimum Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT projects and digital transformation.

• Previous experience working with JIRA, PMO tools (ONE plan, Planview) or similar applications.

• Demonstrated experience in collaboration with critical stakeholders and DevOps teams.

• Proven expertise in methodologies e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe framework

• ITIL4 foundation certifications preferable.

• PMP or Prince 2 practitioner certification would be advantageous.
