Project Manager

Project Manager mill or infrastructure - British Columbia

CSG are currently partnered with a leading EPCM, they take mining and construction projects from concept, through planning all the way to operations. This is a hybrid role so will involve working from home and in the office and site when required.

The Project Manager will be reporting into the Project Director and will be responsible for a scope of USD $600 - 800 million on a $2.2 billion project. This role will be responsible for integrating engineering, procurement, and construction activities across all milling facilities.

Duties of the Project Manager include-

• Collaborating with the functional Directors (Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, and Construction) to ensure that scope is executed to the appropriate standards within each project function.
• Defining, planning, and obtaining approval for work plans and assigning resources (Leads) to manage the work plans, including the scope of work definition for sub-consultants.
• Managing day-to-day operations of the milling areas, ensuring activities are executed in accordance with the project plan.
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors and IPT members to proactively identify and address issues or constraints in their area.
• Driving progress and monitor performance to complete activities safely, with the expected quality, within schedule requirements, and to optimized cost.
• Reporting area-specific updates and any risks or delays to the Project Director.

Required qualifications and skill requirements-

• Experience on the execution of Projects.
• Proven Project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Mining experience is essential.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience.
• Experience working for an engineering consultancy.
