Job Description:

Lead the end-to-end design process for SeaTalk, integrating messaging, enterprise management, and open platform functionalities, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Lead, mentor and support junior designers within the SeaTalk Product & Design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers to comprehend product requirements and business goals, and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Conduct comprehensive user research, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods, to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and iterate on designs based on feedback for enhanced usability and satisfaction.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs adhering to SeaTalk's design principles and branding guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design elements.
Maintain and refine design systems, patterns, and components to optimize the UI design process and ensure scalability and consistency throughout the platform.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a robust portfolio showcasing proficiency in both disciplines. Prior experience with messaging products, SaaS solutions, enterprise management systems, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Expertise in UX methodologies, including user research, usability testing, information architecture, and interaction design.
Proficiency in UI design principles, using tools such as Figma, and familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
Stay abreast of the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure design excellence.
Demonstrate strong logical and systematic thinking abilities, enabling the analysis of complex problems and the development of structured solutions.
Possess exceptional problem-solving skills, and a fervent dedication to crafting user experiences that seamlessly align with both user needs and overarching business objectives.
Team management experience is a plus.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, and proficiency in Mandarin is required for the role as the successful candidate will be required to work closely with Engineering teams based in China.
