Purpose Of The Job

Our client is World leading Energy equipment manufacturer. Part of the client product offering is big IoT platform which is managing events of the huge amount of the IoT devices. By joining our team you will contribute to the development of the configuration and event management part of application which is deployed directly to the devices.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Maintenance & support of the different software component;

Development of new features mainly in the C++/Linux middleware, but potentially aside (new features, new components);

Testing;

Develop/maintain and run L0/L1/L2 tests (unit / integration / black box testing);

Deliver the level of quality expected (acceptance criteria, coding rules guidelines, static/dynamic code analysis reports, etc.).

Education, Skills And Experience

MUST HAVE:

Strong level in C, strong level in C++, Python programming;

Embedded software development, constrained environment;

Familiar with the Linux environment (bash, command line, debugging tools, network tools etc.);

Able to develop solution under Windows, Linux environment;

Good knowledge of Linux services (systemd);

Good knowledge of IPC especially dbus;

Good knowledge of Cmake, makefile;

Knowledge about CI/CD pipeline;

Multi-threaded programming;

Agile/Scrum;

GitHub;

Azure IoT Hub.
