As the Team Lead for Software Engineers with a focus on architectural resiliency, you’ll guide a team of talented engineers in building, maintaining, and scaling backend systems. Your primary goal will be to foster a resilient infrastructure that supports our services’ growth and reliability while ensuring the team thrives in an environment focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving architectural standards, guiding modernization efforts, and helping your team deliver scalable and high-performing backend solutions. Key Responsibilities

Team leadership and mentorship: Oversee and mentor a team of mobile, web and backend engineers, providing technical guidance, fostering growth, and facilitating collaboration within and across teams.

Architectural strategy and resiliency: Develop and implement strategies for backend resiliency, scaling systems to meet business demands, and ensuring performance and reliability across services.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with architects, product managers, and other teams to ensure systems meet functional and operational needs while aligning with organizational goals.

Technology governance and roadmap planning: Lead your team in documenting architecture, setting standards, and planning long-term roadmaps to guide the evolution of our systems.

Operational efficiency: Oversee CI/CD pipeline improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices in DevOps to elevate software quality and delivery standards.

What We’re Looking For

Leadership experience: You bring proven experience leading technical teams, with a focus on building team cohesion, guiding others, and driving accountability and results.

Technical expertise in software architecture: With 7+ years in software development and architecture, you excel in designing resilient systems and bring a solid understanding of microservices and cloud platforms like AWS. Your technical expertise includes:

• Strong foundation in backend languages (Java, Python, or NodeJS).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).
• Track record of implementing scalable solutions in complex environments.
• DevOps and CI/CD proficiency: Skilled in building CI/CD pipelines, automating testing, and driving improvements in deployment practices to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving: You’re comfortable with high-level planning and operational problem-solving, leveraging insights and data to make informed decisions.
• Effective communicator and collaborator: With professional proficiency in English, you’re able to clearly communicate technical concepts and facilitate collaboration across diverse, global teams.

Technical stack

The primary technology stack includes AWS, Java, Python, and NodeJS, with a focus on API management and system resiliency. Familiarity with additional resiliency frameworks or DevOps tooling is beneficial as you will guide teams in implementing these practices.
