Power BI Consultant

Empiric are supporting a large international global consultancy supporting looking for a highly skilled Power BI specialising in Microsoft Fabric Administration.

Key Requirements:

Experiance & Skills:

• Extensive experience working with Power BI Service & Microsoft Fabric Administration including configuring tenant settings, implementing governance frameworks.
• Power Query & DAX Expertise: Proficiency in Power Query for data transformation, including merging, appending, and shaping data from various sources.
• Experience with creating Deployment pipelines and Shared Datasets in Power BI Service.
• Technology experience: Power BI Service, Power BI Deployment Pipelines, Powershell, Azure Logic Apps, Github, Power BI REST APIs.

Responsibilities:

• DevOps:
• Automating deployment of Power BI solutions to production workspaces
• Implementing version control mechanisms in Power BI using GitHub & Deployment pipelines
• Security Implementation - implement different security & governance measures within Power BI Service to restrict access to sensitive data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Integration with Other Systems - collaborate with IT teams to integrate Power BI Service with other systems and platforms within your organization's ecosystem, such as SQL Server, Databricks & Data Warehourses.

Key Details:

• 6 months rolling contract
• Hybrid in Stockholm or Riga
