Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Payments Project Manager to lead critical payment-related initiatives for a financial services client. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payment schemes and systems (e.g., BACS, SWIFT, SEPA) and possess a proven track record of delivering payment projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver payment system projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage project schedules, risks, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and testers.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in project management and delivery.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of payments systems and schemes (e.g., BACS, SWIFT, SEPA).
• Demonstrable experience delivering complex payment-related projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
• A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
