THIS IS A PART-TIME (O,5 FTE) POSITION

Project Scope:

The role involves managing and deploying applications on AWS cloud platforms, focusing on Machine Learning projects. The primary responsibilities include implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and leveraging cloud services to support ML workflows. The position requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles to ensure smooth collaboration and efficient software delivery within an ML context.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines on GitLab for ML applications
• Deploy and manage cloud-based ML models and applications on AWS, utilizing services like Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB, EKS/ECS, EC2, and RDS
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu to support ML environments
• Ensure effective Kubernetes container orchestration for ML workloads
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to optimize deployment pipelines and infrastructure for ML applications
• Integrate security practices using HashiCorp Vault and manage deployment processes with ArgoCD

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and their application in Machine Learning projects
• 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, particularly in multi-account setups and services relevant to ML (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, EKS, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines on GitLab
• Proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure automation
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration for ML workloads
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault and ArgoCD for secure and automated deployments
