Position Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Data & Insights Manager, the Business Intelligence Coordinator will play a key role in leading the migration of the company's reporting platform and developing impactful dashboards tailored to internal stakeholders. This position involves ensuring smooth data integration, creating visually compelling and actionable reports, and fostering a data-driven culture across the organization. The Business Intelligence Coordinator will manage a small team, working closely with various departments to understand their reporting needs, drive the development of customized data solutions, and ensure the successful adoption of BI tools. Responsibilities also include overseeing platform migration, improving data accessibility, and identifying opportunities for enhanced data usage across the business.

Main responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work closely with various internal stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, identify opportunities where data insights can support business objectives, and develop tailored dashboard solutions.
• Platform Migration: Lead the migration of the reporting platform from SSRS to Power BI, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and seamless transition for users across the organization.
• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to drive data-driven decision-making across departments.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze, interpret, and present complex data in a clear and concise manner, making recommendations to improve processes, performance, and strategy execution.
• Team Leadership: Manage a small team of BI professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in delivering high-quality data solutions and reports.
• System Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize BI tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business and maximize efficiency.
• Strategic Insights: Partner with leadership to deliver insights that support key business decisions, particularly in areas like performance monitoring and process improvements.
• Problem-Solving: Utilize advanced analytics to identify trends, solve complex business problems, and offer data-driven solutions that enhance operational performance.
• Innovation & Collaboration: Work alongside the Data & IT teams to explore and implement new technologies, methodologies, and tools to enhance the company’s business intelligence capabilities

Requirements:

Must have

• University Degree
• 3 years of experience on similar position
• Understanding of Retail issues
• Proven track record in supporting data transformation projects, nice to have would be migrating from legacy systems to modern BI tools like Power BI
• Experience in working with Power BI
• Experience manipulating and analyzing structured and unstructured data with SQL (any SQL dialect)
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, Modelling and Reporting
• MS Excel in advanced level
• experience in working with data stakeholders and addressing their needs effectively
• Passion for data and love for driving decisions through numbers
• English at business level

Nice to have

• Experience in working with Reporting Services (SSRS),
• Experience of Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, MS Azure environment (databricks Synapse, etc.).
• Excellent judgment, curiosity, confidence, and a sense of humor.
