Salt Talent Search is looking for Events Project Manager for a 6 months contract role. The Marketing Project Manager, who will be part of the APJ Marketing Operations team, plays a key role in the organization, coordination, and management of clients flagship events across APAC and Japan
What Will You Do:
- Partner with the APJ event marketing team, regional field marketing managers and other functional leads to define, document, and execute the regional event program plan.
- Build project plans and schedules to support the successful execution of our events including planning, website development, announcements, registration, promotions, virtual event platform needs among others. Ensure all deliverables align with project scope and goals.
- Translate business requirements into a program plan and identify dependencies, risks and priorities. Build the program plan process flow to manage the execution.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and drive status meetings. Complete meeting agendas, highlight key landmarks, drive issue resolution, and keep track of next steps. Summarize and communicate meeting outcomes to all event partners.
- Track key dates, run task/project/program/event dependencies, facilitate creative and approvals, and proactively communicate issues.
- Maintain communication with all project/event partners to ensure inter-departmental alignment, optimization of resources, smooth handoffs, and project/program/event consistency and quality.
- Assign creative and production resources through project management tool. Lead and supervise progress, handoffs, and status.
- Audit projects/events once completed, conduct post-mortem meetings, outline improvements, and implement process changes in collaboration with the event marketing team and PMO.
What Will You need:
- 6+ years program/project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Shown experience working with cross-functional teams and running virtual teams.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
- Strong ability to analyze issues, tackle problems, and improve processes.
- Ability to be proactive, take initiative and work independently
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Smartsheet, Google docs).
- Understanding of SaaS and/or enterprise software marketing is a plus.
