Golang Developer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Key Responsibilities

Product Development:
Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Golang.
Contribute to building real-time internet applications or high-scale SAAS platforms that serve millions of users daily.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other developers, to design solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Implement efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code to ensure that the application performs well under heavy loads and high traffic.
Coding & Optimization:
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Object-Oriented code using Golang.
Apply best practices in coding to ensure robustness, scalability, and readability of code.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and latency, ensuring they can handle high traffic and a large number of users.
Technical Leadership & Team Collaboration:
Lead small teams or work with senior developers to guide junior developers and contribute to project planning and code reviews.
Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, helping them improve their skills and deliver high-quality code.
Engage in code reviews and ensure that the team follows the best practices for software development.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
Identify and solve complex technical problems, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Debug and resolve issues related to real-time internet applications, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
Technologies & Tools:
Work with web technologies such as Java, Spring, Python, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Solr, Memcache, Redis for integrated application development.
Use tools like Git for version control and JIRA for project management.

Required Skills And Experience

Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in developing products with Golang and leading small development teams.
Data Structures & Algorithms: Strong command over Data Structures & Algorithms to build efficient and optimized code.
Coding Skills: Exceptional proficiency in Object-Oriented programming, particularly in Golang (experience with other languages like Java, Python is a plus).
Real-Time Applications: Experience in developing real-time internet applications or high-scale SAAS applications.
Web Technologies: Working knowledge of web technologies including Java, Spring, Python, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Solr, Memcache, and Redis.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
