Project Management Coordinator

Overview

Are you a seasoned Project Coordinator with expertise in the financial service industry? Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join their team on a 6-month contract (with potential for extension), driving the successful delivery of high-impact projects in a dynamic and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing financial services projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, compliance, IT, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure goals are achieved on schedule and within scope.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and updates for stakeholders and management.
• Identify and escalate risks or issues, ensuring swift resolution to minimize impact.
• Ensure projects adhere to financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Support project managers in resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and milestone tracking.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years proven experience as a Project Coordinator in the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory and compliance considerations.
• Experience managing financial books for projects
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Excel or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
• Experience working on a Mergers or Demerger or Acquisition projects would be advantageous.
