We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project/Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing projects within the manufacturing environment, focusing on process improvements, product development, and cost reduction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, administer, schedule, and budget assigned projects.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD), process improvement initiatives, and provide engineering support to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and key deliverables.
  • Oversee capital projects using standard project management techniques.
  • Request capital funds via the Authorization For Expenditure (AFE) process to purchase custom and commercially available equipment.
  • Manage process change projects through the Change Control (CC) process.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Engineers to ensure products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO).
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction through cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and automation, supported by data analysis.
  • Work with mechanics to determine the root cause of production issues and develop solutions to mitigate or eliminate these causes.
  • Use reliability-centered maintenance to reduce machine downtime and inventory carrying costs.
  • Interact with internal support teams (Facilities, IT, QA, NPC, etc.) and external suppliers to successfully execute projects.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies into the manufacturing processes.


Requirements:


  • professional experience in Project/Process Engineering within a manufacturing environment (food, pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotech, or similar industries).
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience in Pneumatics, 2D/3D CAD, Lean Manufacturing principles (including SMED and DMAIC techniques), Occupational Health & Safety, and Project Management .
  • Fluency in English
  • Business registered in EU
