For our department MCC within LuxairAirlines, we are looking for a (an):

Head of Maintenance Control Center (m/f/x)

Main duties:

  • Lead, instruct and motivate the dedicated staff in order to achieve discipline, quality, efficiency, on time delivery of the A/C and promote general cost consciousness within the department
  • Ensure a network wide technical control, support and trouble-shooting in scheduling his staff on a 24/7 basis towards Flight crew and Maintenance staff for all technical issues on LUXAIR’s Fleet and to third parties / airlines according to current internal and legal regulations in force
  • Responsible to create or update, check and implement all relevant CAMO Job Descriptions, Procedures and Instructions for the department
  • Ensure that all department related activities are performed and recorded in accordance with the standards specified in EASA-CAMO, LUXAIR CAME and any other National Authority Regulation
  • Develop and/or implement corrective actions resulting from non-conformance findings as contained in Quality Audit Reports assigned to MCC


Required profile:

Minimum Requirements For Position

  • Have a bachelor degree (BAC & 3) in aeronautics and/or proven experience of the technical environment in the aviation industry as a current or former EASA Part 66 B1/B2 or C (or equivalent) license holder
  • Have good knowledge of EASA Part M, Part-CAMO and Part 145 regulations
  • Have strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Show a good sense of priorities
  • Show excellent communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
  • Be stress resistant
  • Be capable of working independently as well as in a team
  • Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Show the ability for clear expression in writing
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data
  • Accept Duty Travel
  • Be familiar with standard office applications


Criteria desired or to be acquired

  • Must provide an effort in the undeveloped language
  • Have good negotiation skills
  • Show strong sense for entrepreneurial and economical thinking
  • Show user skills in the tools used in LG Technics
  • Show an effort to stay up to date with the newest aviation technologies


Ideal candidate

  • Experience in a Maintenance (Operations) Control Center of an airline
  • Familiar with Luxair aircraft types
  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
