We are an innovative startup offering power bank rental services in the Netherlands. We started this year (2024) and are rapidly expanding to make our services available across the entire country. Our mission is to give everyone the freedom to charge their phones anytime, anywhere.
To strengthen our growing team, we are offering an exciting apprenticeship opportunity for an aspiring Hardware Product Manager. This role provides hands-on experience in hardware product management, supply chain optimization, and market strategy, with a focus on the power bank rental business model. It is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain real-world experience and work closely with an innovative team while contributing to product management, finance, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Product Management: Support the lifecycle management of our hardware products, from concept to delivery, and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Enhance supply chain processes by collaborating with suppliers and logistics partners, particularly in China and Asia, to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Market Expansion: Assist in identifying and executing new opportunities in Asian and global markets, leveraging your knowledge of local cultural and business practices.
- Financial Analysis: Contribute to financial analysis and budgeting to ensure cost-effective solutions and strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate smooth communication between international suppliers and internal teams, resolving issues to maintain operational excellence.
- Agile Project Management: Learn to use agile methodologies to prioritize tasks, manage sprints, and deliver on project goals.
Education:
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, or Commerce is preferred.
Experience:
- Relevant experience in the power bank rental business or any other sharing economy .
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics, and procurement processes.
- Proven success in managing cross-border collaborations, especially in China and Asian markets.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in supply chain processes and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Google Analytics, and project management tools like Jira.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic startup environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple priorities.
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work effectively across cultures.
Languages:
- Native-level proficiency in Chinese (written and spoken).
- Fluency in English for professional communication.
