Ankara, Türkiye (On-Site)

The role of the Deployment Manager involves coordinating, planning, and organizing the installation services in accordance with established cost, quality, and timeline terms, as well as defining and implementing new projects.

As part of the Installation Team, your main responsibilities would include:

• Defining the installation strategy based on field data and the available site access time.
• Preparation of Deployment (including installation also) Management Plan and Project Deployment Schedule
• Perform Site Surveys in the early phase as well as deployment phase of the contract
• Planning and coordinating all activities related to the installation of equipment or systems at client sites, reporting to the Project Manager in collaboration with related areas.
• Supervising the activities of the team, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Applying the general work plan, installation plan, quality assurance plan, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) plan.
• Organizing progress follow-up meetings on the weekly planning of works.
• Managing monthly Progress Payment Reports for both Subcontractors and the Contractor.
• Verifying measurements of civil works units, equipment, and project installations.
• Providing the necessary equipment, permits, and resources for testing and commissioning support activities.
• Acting as the company's representative with clients and subcontractors.
• Coordinating team activities to ensure task efficiency, motivation, and commitment levels required for successful execution.
• Overseeing the training, development, and evaluation of the team.
• Responsible for close monitoring of Subcontractors.
• Familiar to using different deployment tools and digital systems. Deployment management shall be followed with a digital & mobile tool. Deployment Manager shall lead, manage and coordinate the implementation and usage of such tool with the team and subcontractors.
• Optimizes installation activities across contributing units in a Multi-Country project.
• Managing warehouse with technicians including the coordination of material transports between storage ground and installation site
• Support to PM and Procurement for installation material procurements. Such procurement requests shall be done by DP to Procurement with the related process. Prepare costing and/or analyse the subcontractor’s costing for the installation and support PM and Management for subcontractor’s selection evaluation.
• Preparation of workload for deployment in projects
• Manage on site solution acceptance (or SAT or Temporary acceptance and FA)
• Preparation & definition of civil works requirements for deployment in a structural approach.
• Preparation & definition of infrastructure requirements ( for mobilization, main site and waysite ) for deployment in a structural approach.
• to observe and apply the installation/operation/deployment manuals of equipment provided by the main contractor. In addition, when there is a specific or local solution to be implemented, such an installation design&drawings shall be prepared by DP.
• He/She shall be responsible for fulfilment and completion of deployment forms on time with-in the deployment team including the subcontractors even preparation or revisions of templates.
  
  

WHAT PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Graduated from the Electrical Electronics Engineering Department of universities
• Experience with signalling systems and railway regulations.
• Desirable knowledge in cabling, track circuits, ERTMS...
• English proficiency
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• High regular reporting competence
• Proficiency in MSOffice tools
• Can use MS Project
• Experience as team leader or installation manager gained over 3 to 4 years in the field of signalling and/or control systems for underground and/or municipal railways (certificates of employment and other certificates).
• A vital requirement is knowledge and experience gained in the field of organisation, execution and control of assembly processes.
• He/She must be able to prepare and interpret written instructions and sketches, and to coordinate them with other trades, if necessary.
• He/She must be able to independently organise specialised and sophisticated assembly works and to instruct and supervise working teams belonging to the staff categories including the necessary documentation showing the progress of works, the assessment of man-hours, tools, instruments and materials needed.
• Knowledge of regulations dealing with labour safety and accident prevention as well as their implementation in practice are compulsory. It is also a duty of the DP to instruct the staff members according to these regulations.
• Records such as daily, weekly and monthly reports as well as staff checks are required.
• Contributions to the project report according to the customer’s contractual requirements are expected to be made.
• The deployment works shall be executed in strict accordance with the installation manuals/drawings and DP shall collect, compile, aply even may revise according to dedicated site requirements.
