Azure Architect

We are looking for an experienced Azure Architect to design and implement innovative cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will lead the migration of on-premise environments, develop scalable Azure infrastructure, and deliver automation strategies while ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive mindset to collaborate with teams and clients effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Design and review Azure Infrastructure architecture, including migrations and provisioning.
• Create solution designs for Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and microservices implementations.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to the team on Azure best practices and processes.
• Lead Azure DevOps strategy development and automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Terraform, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
• Manage project risks and collaborate with presales teams to refine technical solutions.
• Oversee migration of on-premises infrastructure to Azure and implement security and compliance measures.
• Lead team communications, coordinate meetings, and manage deliverables, including from offshore teams.

Requirements:

• 10+years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure design, automation, and provisioning.
• Expertise in microservices architecture using Docker, Azure Containers, and AKS.
• Proficiency with: ARM templates, Terraform, Azure CLI, PowerShell and Azure services and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience in network and security configurations (NSGs, load balancers, ACLs).
• Excellent documentation and communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
