Data Scientist Lead for RWE Data | Global Team

A famous global company with a strong stable business in Japan is looking for a new Data Scientist to join their Female lead Data team.

Looking at RWE Data and working with internal and external data sets. Running Statistics, and analytics. (You can work at either the Tokyo or Osaka office.)

Job Summary: Data Strategist Lead

Job Responsibilities

The Data Strategist Lead is a transformational leader responsible for enhancing our competitive advantage in data solutions and delivery capabilities to accelerate Real World Evidence (RWE) generation across the entire product lifecycle, from clinical development to medical affairs activities.

Primary Responsibilities

Drive the development and execution of comprehensive Real-World Data (RWD) strategies across compounds and disease areas, including strategic RWD acquisition, development, and delivery.

Maximize opportunities to utilize RWD by leveraging advancing government strategies and shaping environmental challenges to solve key RWD capability gaps and achieve regulatory acceptance.

Deliver analysis-ready datasets, reporting, and analytics that allow seamless downstream consumption, standardization, and integration of RWD for use with fidelity, quality, and compliance.

Build key capabilities in advanced analytics, including user-centric RWD platforms, by partnering with the IT department and other technology solution vendors.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Master's degree in Data Science, Medical Informatics, Health Informatics, or equivalent.

More than 3 years of experience in data management and statistical analysis in clinical trials or clinical observational studies using real-world data.

Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English (business level) with multiple related departments, both domestically and internationally.

Logical, scientific, and strategic thinking abilities.

Additional Preferences

Experience in database deployment and validation, standardization of medical information.

Strong programming skills (in one or more SAS, R, Python, etc.).

Data analytics and research experience in the healthcare domain.
